Our main task was to create a modern landscape that would become one with the architecture of the house. The property is loosely divided into two parts

The first is the formal part, home to the main house; here the architecture of the garden is governed by geometry and clean forms that follow from the proportions of the house. We soften them with monochrome massed plantings of mountain pines, hydrangeas and junipers, and with flower beds of perennials and ornamental grasses. As solitary accents floating above the compositions, we use multi-stemmed Amur maples. The main meadow opposite the terrace also has a regular rectangular shape, into which clouds of clipped mountain pines intrude. Behind them stands a decorative perforated metal wall, through which light passes in the evening, creating a luminous composition around it.

Closer to the terrace lies the water surface, composed of basins on two levels. Water spills from the upper basin into the lower one, creating a current. On the central lawn stands an art object that completes the main axis running from the panoramic windows of the living room into the woodland zone.
The second is the woodland part of the property. It holds a gazebo with a BBQ area and a fire pit zone. We tried to leave it in its natural state, only adding plants characteristic of the forest floor.
